We are happy to invite you to explore the content of the Automotive User Interfaces Conference 2017 in Oldenburg, Germany!
At AutomotiveUI’17, we experienced exciting paper presentations and keynotes, workshops and tutorials, and interactive sessions with authors of works-in-progress, interactive demos, and industrial showcases. For the first time at AutomotiveUI, also had video sessions. Our participants enjoyed the social events and explored the beautiful city of Oldenburg.
AutomotiveUI, the ACM International Conference on Automotive User Interfaces and Interactive Vehicular Applications, is the premier forum for UI research in the automotive domain. The conference brings together researchers and practitioners interested in both the technical and the human aspects of in-vehicle user interfaces and applications, to provide a forum for the exchange of technical information concerning research (and practice) and educational activities for motor vehicle user interface development.
Consistent with prior conferences, AutomotiveUI’17 addressed several topics, including novel in-vehicle services, models of and concepts for enhancing the driver experience, driver performance and behavior, development of (semi-) autonomous driving, and the needs of different user groups. The overarching goal is to support the development of in-vehicle user interfaces that are safe, easy to use, useful, and desired by users.
Authors were invited to submit original work in one or more of the following formats: full papers and notes, workshops, tutorials, works in progress, interactive demos, video sessions, and doctorial colloquium. Submissions can be related to all topics that are related to the various aspects of automotive user interfaces.
