Workshops & tutorial access: Everyone who registers for the full conference can register for and attend the workshop and tutorial sessions without addional fees.

Catering during the conference: Coffee breaks and lunch during the main days of the conference as well as social event and conference dinner will be included.

** STUDENT RATES

The student rate is only available to full-time students who should provide proof of full-time status as a current student (e.g. student identification card) at the registration desk upon arrival at the conference.

AutoUI 2026 is an in-person conference. This means, all accepted papers must be presented at the conference. Therefore, at least one author of each accepted paper must register by the early registration deadline and attend the conference for the paper to be included in the conference proceedings (or adjunct proceedings). This applies to all paper categories, including extended abstracts.

Up to and including August 15, 2026, the registration fee will be refunded, minus a 100 SEK (approximately 10 USD) administration fee. After 15 August 2026 – No refunds on registration fees will be made. No shows will not be refunded. Please note if you pre-register and do not attend the conference you will be charged your participation fee and will be required to settle any outstanding balances. Notification of cancellations should be made by email to registration(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)auto-ui.org. If you do not send an email confirming that you wish to cancel your place at the conference you will still be liable to pay the fees. Substitutions can be made at any time. All applicable refunds will be made after the conference. Bank service charges and all administration fees will be deducted from all conference registration refunds. In the unlikely case of cancellation of the event, the organizers shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc. Delegates are encouraged to take out travel insurance when making travel and accommodation arrangements.

AutomotiveUI 2026 aims to make participation accessible to our global community. In line with ACM’s commitment to inclusion and accessibility, we offer discounted registration fees for participants from countries designated by ACM as economically developing. Our goal is to help ensure that financial circumstances do not become an unnecessary barrier to participation. Registration fee eligibility is determined based on the country associated with the address entered during conference registration, rather than the participant’s current place of residence or institutional affiliation. The list of eligible countries follows ACM’s classification of economically developing countries.

The discounted registration rates are available during the early-bird registration period only. If your registration address is located in an ACM-designated economically developing country, the applicable registration discount will be applied automatically. Please note that this discounted registration model is being introduced by AutoUI 2026 on a trial basis and should not be interpreted as a standard policy for future AutoUI conferences.
